Peanut sauce with beef

Consumed in various forms, peanuts are very popular with Cameroonians. We offer a recipe based on grilled peanuts.

Recipe for peanut sauce

Preparation: 25 min

Ingredients

500 g of beef (with or without bone)

100 g peanut paste

4 tomates

2 garlic cloves

1 leek

2 onions

Salt

3 small cubes

Peanut oil or refined sunflower.

Preparation + cooking

Cook meat 45 min with water, salt and a half cut onion.

While cooking, peel garlic and crush with leek and tomatoes.

When the meat is ready, fry the onions in 2 to 3 tablespoons of refined oil.

Pour in the crushed mixture and cook 15 min. Stir occasionally to prevent the bottom from burning.

Pour the meat and its juice and let it boil.

Add the peanut paste and cook 25 min.

Add salt and cube. Let simmer for a few more minutes.

You can serve !!

Tips: When your dough is cooked, do not close the pan completely to avoid that your sauce is too heavy.
